A2 Media Blog: Examples of CD Covers

I like this as it is colourful and looks exiting. The reason I chose this is because I feel that it doesn't conform to any other CD cover I have seen. The colours arent harsh or soft, it all works well together.

I chose this as I felt the style of image they have chosen is really good. It is very abstract and has a good use of layers. The colours work well together and each layer stands out from the next.

I think this CD cover is really cool, it is completely cartoonist and looks really good.

This CD cover is fairly simple and uses a fairly unnoticed backgroung image and has a simple layer of text. They have a slight blur/stretched and looks like beams of light.

This cover is again completely cartoonist and is hugely abstract. All the images blend into one another and apear to be different but similar.

This cover looks cool and works well in black and white. The only colour is on the Album name and wworks really well to make it stand out.

This album cover cotains several images condensed into one. It brings together a skull, flames, a flag amoungst others.

This album cover looks really professional and uses a simple layout in black and white with a small amount of bright colours in the background.

This cover looks as if it is in grid format and and has a skull in the midle in very bland colours. The background is colourful and works well to highlight the skull in the middle.

This is a very simple album cover, however it is very effective. The downside to this album cover is that it doesnt show you the name of the album which is strange.

This album appealed to me as the background image is really creative and the text looks good ontop of it. The im\age is well shot/created and the text fits in in the sky.
